Derby County are preparing for their next test in the Sky Bet Championship, with the visit of Aston Villa to Pride Park on Saturday (3pm).
The Rams go into the game on a good run of form, beating Birmingham City 3-1 in their previous match last weekend.
That result, combined with an unbeaten run of six games in the league, has seen Frank Lampard’s side move up to fifth place in the Championship table.
Villa, meanwhile, are still adapting to life under new manager Dean Smith, who replaced Steve Bruce at the start of October.
The Claret and Blue have had four matches under the new boss, claiming two victories and suffering two defeats.
Ahead of Saturday’s clash at Pride Park, former Nottingham Forest and current Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has made his usual weekly Rams prediction.
Prutton reckons that Derby will continue their good run of form, and claim a 2-1 win over Villa.

“You worried a little for Derby when they fell behind against Birmingham last weekend,” said Prutton.
“Had they run out of steam after such a demanding run of fixtures? They answered that emphatically.
“Aston Villa put in one of their best performances of the season against Bolton and you can certainly see some improvements being made under Dean Smith.
“This is a really tough trip for them, however. Rams win for me.”
