Lots of Leeds fans have been discussing possible striker targets after the injury to Patrick Bamford, but they’re not convinced by Rangers front man Alfredo Morelos.
Leeds United’s Bamford is facing up to four months on the sidelines with a knee injury he sustained on Friday.
The 25 year-old was signed to provide competition for Kemar Roofe, but Marcelo Bielsa is now set to enter the busy winter period with just one senior striker.
One man who could potentially be on the move is Rangers’ feisty 22 year-old Morelos, who some fans at Ibrox want sold over his discipline problems.
Bielsa may just have the experience to get the best out of the young Colombian, who has expressed his desire to play in the Premier League in the past.
Another solution to the injury crisis up front could be to bring back Caleb Ekuban, who is on loan in Turkey.
Of course, Leeds aren’t back in the top tier yet, but if they are still at the top of the table in January then one would have to assume they’ll have their pick of the bunch to add some depth to the squad.
The majority of fans don’t think Morelos is the right fit though, as you can see from the poll results down below…
