As per one of the latest reports by The Sun, Leeds United are pursuing West Ham United’s outcast, Jordan Hugill, for a loan swoop. However, the Whites are set to be challenged by their Championship rivals, Queens Park Rangers, as the London based outfit are also monitoring Hugill’s situation at the London Stadium very closely.

Hugill left the ranks of Preston North End for £10million in the January transfer window after making a substantial amount of impact there. Prior to his move to the armoury of the Hammers, the 26-year-old scored 8 goals and registered an assist in 27 outings in the Championship. He moved to the Premier League with the tag of a proven goal-getter in the English second division but things haven’t gone in his favour ever since.

He was handed merely 3 appearances after his move to the Premier League outfit and all of them were off the bench. The striker desperately needs to get regular game time on the pitch and staying with West Ham United in the 2018-19 campaign might have detrimental effects on his career. Thus, a loan spell with Leeds United should be a tempting option for him.
