as reported by the birmingham mail,
West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Kemar Roofe from Leeds United, according to reports.
Roofe was Leeds’ top goalscorer last season with 14 goals in 39 appearances and is expected to attract interest this summer.
Roofe started his career at Albion, progressing through the academy before he joined Oxford in 2015 after several spells out on loan.
Baggies boss Darren Moore has so far added goalkeeper Sam Johnstone to his squad from Manchester United as a replacement for Ben Foster who then signed for Watford.
Moore is targeting further additions in the weeks ahead as the opening game of the Championship season draws nearer.
But Albion could face competition from Sheffield United, who are also admirers of Roofe.
It is reported that both clubs are lining up bids for the 25-year-old who has two years remaining on his contract at Elland Road.
