In regard to their astounding form this season, many may argue that Championship leaders Norwich don’t need any new signings. Daniel Farke has his young charges playing exciting, attacking football, and promotion back to the Premier League looks like a real possibility.

However, as we all know, England’s second tier is arguably one of the most demanding in world football. It contains 46 games, each one of them against tough, determined opposition – it is especially demanding on the players both mentally and physically.

Potential injuries are a big worry, whilst even just a tiny slip could see Norwich drop down the table – the gap between first and ninth is just ten points.
