Michael Jolley will have a full quota of players to choose from as Grimsby Town get their FA Cup journey underway on Saturday.
MK Dons head at Blundell Park (3pm) as the Mariners look to reach the second round for the first time since their return to the Football League.
And they’ve been given a boost ahead of kick-off, with Jolley confirming that all his loan players will be available to line-up in Cleethorpes.
“The loan clubs have all been generous in allowing those players to all participate if selected,” Jolley told the Telegraph.
“That’s good for us, it gives us all the options we would want.”
Having played as recently as Tuesday night – and coming off the back of three straight defeats in League Two – there could be more changes in store for the Mariners this weekend.
Jolley made four alterations to his side at Mansfield earlier in the week, and hasn’t ruled out mixing things up once again this weekend.
“There’s always a chance of changes. We try and get a balance of continuity from the previous game, but also looking at how we can get an edge or freshen the team up.
“The lads have trained really well, and we’ll see how they train before the game and go from there.”
