Back in the side after injury and he produced a commanding display in the heart of defence. Led the backline well throughout. Impressive. 8

Another confident display from a defender bang in form. Looked at ease throughout the contest and was excellent when in possession. 7

Carl Jenkinson

Never really looked comfortable when having to use his left foot, but did a decent enough job for the team on the left side of defence. 5

An eye-catching display once again. Kept the ball moving in midfield and protected the back four well. Real talent. 7

Aaron Ramsey

Nothing spectacular, but seemed far more comfortable playing in a deeper role than we’ve seen him in so far this season. Was always looking to get involved. 6

Produced a couple of wonderful tricks, including one outrageous dummy in the first half. Never stopped making runs and wanting the ball. 6
