Arsenal’s defeat to West Ham on Saturday has led to some fans claiming the club should have tried to sign Samir Nasri.
Nasri had been out of action for more than a year after breaking WADA’s doping rules, but fans wouldn’t have been able to tell with his performance against the Gunners.
The 31-year-old’s touch was on point, his movement superb and his passing spectacular.
The defeat put a big dent in the Gunners’ top four hopes who are now three points Chelsea having played an extra game.

Unai Emery admitted in his pre-match press conference that Arsenal can only sign players on loan in January. And with this in mind, some Arsenal fans are wishing they had taken a gamble on former player Nasri, even if he did leave the club in acrimonious circumstances.
One supporter tweeted: “Should have signed Nasri. A man that can run with the ball from the middle. Plus free. I don’t give a s*** about the bad terms he left on.”
