A goal from 19-year-old, Man of the Match, Declan Rice was enough to earn West Ham a first win at home against Arsenal in 13 years.

West Ham dominated much of the game, and Arsenal struggled to break their stubborn defence.

It was a well-deserved victory for the Hammers, who moved into the top half of the table.

Lukasz Fabianski – 7

Fabianski was rarely troubled by the Arsenal attack, but stayed focused throughout, making one notable first-half save.

Pablo Zabaleta – 7

Another top match for the evergreen Zabaleta. The defender was sound defensively and threating going forward.

Issa Diop – 8

It was a strong performance from Diop, who dealt with Arsenal’s attacking players with ease at times

Angelo Ogbonna – 7

Ogbonna helped Diop in ensuring Arsenal didn’t have any clear cut opportunities.

Arron Cresswell -7

A consistent threat going forward and a rock at the back. Cresswell dealt with his opponents superbly and prevented Aubameyang from having a clear shot on goal.

Declan Rice – 9

An outstanding performance from the teenager, and a goal to remember. Rice won the game for West Ham at both ends of the pitch. The defender-turned-midfielder won the ball back 10 times and scored a very good goal too.
