Arnautovic is reportedly the subject of a £35m bid from an unnamed Chinese Super League club.

The former Stoke man has been one of the Irons’ most important players since he joined in 2017.

He’s also scored 18 goals in 47 Premier League games for the London club, which is just four less than he scored in his entire stint at Stoke.

And in the aftermath of West Ham’s 1-0 victory over Arsenal  on Saturday, Pellegrini spoke about the situation at hand.

“We’ll see what happens in the next days,” Pellegrini told Sky Sports.

“It’s an issue that the club must see what is the best for him, for the player, for the club, for everyone.

“I hope he will take the best decision for everyone.

“I have been in these situations a lot of times. I have been a manager for about 30 years.”

Arnautovic’s brother, who also acts as his agent, released a statement earlier this week detailing the Austrian’s desire to make the move.
