Wolverhampton Wanderers could be tempted to revive their interest in Manchester City midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko after comments from his agent.

Wolverhampton Wanderers pushed hard to try and land Zinchenko from Man City in the summer.

Nuno Espirito Santo was backed with a number of moves as Wolves looked to add extra quality for their return to the Premier League.

Wolves even got as far as agreeing a £16million fee with City for the Ukrainian utility man, who can play at left wing back or central midfield.

But the 21-year-old was reluctant to move to the Molineux, as reported by The Mirror at the time, and failed with another last ditch bid to change the young star’s mind before the transfer deadline.

A lack of game action since for Zinchenko at the Etihad will make him question the wisdom of that decision with just two appearances so far.

And new comments from Zinchenko’s agent could encourage Wolves to try their hand again in January after he admitted he is open to a move.
