Adama Traore has admitted he’s keen to earn his first Wolves start to build on his impressive substitute displays so far.

The 22-year-old, who joined Wolves from Middlesbrough over the summer, has only appeared off the bench in the Premier League for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, coming on seven times.

He did start both of the EFL Cup games and has done well when given the chance but the former Barcelona youngster admits he’s desperate to be given a chance from the start in the league.

He said in the Express & Star: ‘I am passionate so I want to start, but I am still working 100 per cent when I come off the bench and I will wait for my opportunity to start and I will take it.

‘But the most important thing is that the team wins and we perform well.’
