It’s that time of year again when supporters are eagerly anticipating the release of their club’s new kits.

Celtic fans are no different, and the Premiership champions have revealed when they will unveil their new home strip for the 2018/19 season.

Last year’s kit was met with universal acclaim by fans and the club will be hoping for something similar with next season’s installment.

With the Scottish Cup Final to come, and a double Treble in sight, fans of the Hoops are buoyant at present.

The Parkhead side penned a lucrative five-year deal with New Balance in 2015, which is believed to worth up to £30million.

When will it be released?

Supporters will be able to catch a glimpse of the new home kit when it will be released on Monday, April 23.

Last year saw the Hoops unveil their strip on a scorching May day outside the Celtic Way, but this year they have something different planned with a special night show in Glasgow’s St Luke’s music venue.

Yes. Celtic are offering followers of the club the opportunity to attend the launch of the new Hoops… and there is even a free pint on offer!

A club statement said: “The players will debut the new season kit for the first time at the event, which is hosted by New Balance, in St Luke’s, a music & arts venue in the Calton area of the city.

“The night kicks off at 5:30pm with world-renowned DJ (and Celtic fan!) Jackmaster, who’ll be joined by Jonjoe on the decks to entertain supporters, before the Bhoys and Ghirls take to the stage to reveal the new 2018/19 Celtic Home Kit.

“This is a free event, with official club sponsor Magners also providing a free pint on arrival to all fans.”
