The Rangers winger has been gradually introduced to the team by Ibrox boss Steven Gerrard.

Eros Grezda is ready to take his chance in the absence of fellow Rangers wingers, Ryan Kent and Daniel Candeias.

Kent (injured) and Candeias (suspended) will miss the Ibrox side’s visit of Motherwell this Sunday, alongside long-term absentee Jamie Murphy.

That is likely to provide Grezda with a rare opportunity to impress, having played just 146 minutes of football since his £1.8 million transfer from NK Osijek in August.

And discussing the game at Rangers’ pre-match press conference on Friday, the Albanian told the club’s official Youtube channel: “It’s a really good opportunity for me because the other players who aren’t playing this game they did really well the last months, so I had to wait for my chance. But I think this is one of them.

“I really can’t wait for this game. Now I have to be in the places that Ryan Kent and Daniel Candeias are missing. It’s a really big game for us and for me, and I hope for the win.”
